Cookie Policy
Last updated: June 11, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how BizTracker uses cookies and similar technologies on our website (the “Site”), the categories we use, and how you can control them. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. “Similar technologies” include local storage, pixels, and SDKs that perform comparable functions. They can be set by us (first-party) or by third parties (third-party), and may last only for your session (session) or persist across visits (persistent).
2. How we use them
Our marketing Site is built to be lightweight and currently uses only strictly necessary storage by default — for example, remembering your cookie preferences. We only set analytics or marketing technologies after you consent through our cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time using the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer.
3. Categories of cookies
| Category | Purpose | Consent required? |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Core functionality and security, including storing your cookie-consent choice. The Site can’t work properly without these. | No (always active) |
| Analytics / performance | Help us understand how visitors use the Site (pages viewed, aggregate trends) so we can improve it. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is privacy-first and does not use cookies or fingerprinting; we still load it only with your consent. | Yes |
| Marketing | Measure campaigns and, where applicable, deliver more relevant messaging. | Yes |
Analytics is currently provided by Cloudflare Web Analytics (cookieless). The
only client-side storage we set by default is your consent record, under the key
bt-consent in your browser’s local storage. A specific cookie inventory will be
listed here if any cookie-based tools are enabled.
4. Managing your preferences
- Use the Cookie preferences link in the footer to accept or reject non-essential categories at any time.
- Most browsers let you block or delete cookies via their settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect how the Site works.
- You can opt out of many advertising cookies via tools such as the DAA and YourOnlineChoices (EU).
5. “Do Not Track” & global signals
Some browsers offer “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals. Where required by law, we treat a recognized opt-out preference signal as a valid request to opt out of sale/ sharing for that browser or device.
6. Changes
We may update this Cookie Policy as our practices or applicable law change. We’ll post the updated version with a new “Last updated” date.
